As a first defence, try dish soap diluted in a hose-end sprayer and go for it. As a second defence, try any BT product for chewibg and sucking insects. Veseys has Safer's BTK Biological Insecticide # 85423 , 100 ml. @ 9.95 diluted to make 30 litres, and also sprayed through a hose-end sprayer. Good for earwigs, too !!

I use plain old dish washing soap and water in a spray bottle and spray every couple of days..... It works for me!.... Good luck!

Along with the dish soap put a little bit of cooking oil and that will help the soap stick to the aphids , it has worked great for me.
