I planted two Leucothoe shrubs in my front garden last year, but by looking at the leaves I believe they are getting too much sun. The leaves are burning. If I was to move them now would they survive? or do I need to wait for them to be dormant?

Leucothoe axillaris ‘A.E. Wilson’? prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil in partial to full shade. Zone 5-8. I would move them as soon as possible to give them time to recover before the onset of winter conditions. NB. that is my personal preference, not supported by any research. Johanna
