Posted by Jennifer Barton on Sunday, July 1, 2007 12:07 pm ADTWe bought a French Lilac a few years ago. It has lovely flowers and veragated leaves. It does get suckers that we remove from the base of the bush but also sends out new growth from around the base of it. It has grown quite big and now seems to challenge the space that we put it in. It is aprox. six feet high and three feet wide. Hope this helps...Jen
