Once they multiply you can dig them up and seperate, keeping the best bulbs and replant them. Best to do this early fall, it gives the bulb a chance to adjust prior to winter.

Posted by K on Thursday, July 3, 2008 9:01 pm ADTI had second year red asiatic lilies come up this spring. The foliage grew to almost 4 feet and was quite healthy. Problem is, when the blooms formed and opened they were mishapen, only three petaled and lasted only a day or so before coming off, nor were they very large, as the year before. Any ideas, suggestions or help? Thanks....
