I planted a Japanese blood grass plant last summer. It did quite well. This year it has so far only grown to a height of about 5 inches and it only growing new shoots on the one side. I have been watering it when we have had dry periods, it receives morning and late afternoon sun. Any thoughts on why it is so slow to grow/why it is only partially growing new shoots? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
