I'm growing Veseys spaghetti squash for the first time and they are doing well but they are green and I expected them to be yellow. Does this just mean they have not ripened and if so when does this usually happen? Thanks

yes, it means they need to rippen. They will slowly rippen until fall.

Oh, spaghetti squash is a winter, so we can pick it in the fall and store it over winter. I had the same question as you, and found that out as well.

can the squash be picked with vine attached and continue to ripen,or should they be left to run a natural course? Thanks.

This late in the season, I just clipped the ends of all my vining squash and removed any really tiny squash(female blossoms)so that the plant will put all it's energy into the ones that already have been pollinated.
