Posted by peihobby on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 10:20 am ADTLast Easter I was given a pot of faded Easter lillies. I planted them in my flower bed ( not expecting anything to happen) and I now have two lillies about to bloom. Its Oct 2. I live in dt chtown and although said to be zone 5a I have been able to grow and keep plants from zone 6a. Has anyone ever done this and if so what happened the next year?

Posted by CJ on Sunday, October 7, 2007 9:55 pm ADTI also planted an Easter lily in my garden as someone told me it would survive, that was spring of 2006, this summer I was amazed to see a beautiful Easter lily in bloom. It had 4 blossoms. I mulched it well last winter and intend to do the same this year. I live in zone 5b. Good luck with your Easter lily.
