Gardeners’ Forum: “Rhodo - are these buds?”
Back to Gardeners’ ForumRhodo - are these buds?
Posted by Annie on Sunday, February 10, 2008 12:49 pm ASTWe moved 2 years ago and there was a rhodo in the yard. It didn't flower the first year so I moved it out of 100% shade under a pine tree to half shade further from the pine tree. Now it has 2 inch long fat 'buds' at the end of many branches. I don't know if these buds are leaves not yet open or flowers for next year. I can't find anything in any of my books or onlne. Any ideas would be appreciated. :)
