The soil in my garden tends to be very clay-like. The only thing that has been very successful at growing has been green beans. We have tried carrots, peas, onions, corn, etc, and have received very-very small yields. I am thinking that it must be the soil, what can I do to decrease the clay-like soil?

Sand, peat moss, compost and peralite spread on top then dug in deep or rototilled. This does not happen overnight it will take time. Bill
