    any hints on starting wave petunias from seed?- when to pinch to ensure bushy plants? any hints at all?? never done this before. thanks

      Debbie all petunias should be started in January but you can give yours a try. Use a 4 inch flower pot fill with good potting mix,water,sprinkle seeds on top of soil put pot in clear plastic bag (grocery store produce bag)under lights. When seedlings are 2 inches tall pinch off top two leaves.Wave petunias need lots of fertilizer after they start growing. Bill

      My friend and I start our seeds in February! When the plants are big enough we take cuttings and use rooting compound to root the cuttings. They grow easly. Last year we had and abundance of plants from a couple of packs of seed!
