  • Strawberries with bad timing (z4a, montreal)

I just had a pack of Veestar strawberries arrive, and with the rain they won't go into their beds for 3 days or so. How should I make them comfortable for the next few days?

The strawberries should be kept cool and a bit moist. I would open the bag and if the roots appear dry, sprinkle a bit of water. Then you can leave the bag open and store in a nice cool place.

I know nothing about strawberries, but I'm having a very hard time finding a good gardener who could plant and maintain my garden. Any suggestions on who to contact?
