My hibiscus was doing fine outside during summer but since I brought it inside as the temprature start to go down duing the night, the leaves are turning yellow. I have read in one of the questions on gardeners forum that hibiscus is a perennial. I live in zone 5b and want to know if it is hardy in my zone.

I live zone 5b too. I brought mine in too. But my hibiscus are not perenial and i always bring them in for the winter. Do not water them too much after u bring them and yes i always have some leaves fall of after yellowing...Mine have always recovered well and i cut them back when they slow down blooming (they still want to bloom) I have been doing this for years and they love it outside and bloom like crazy..be patient. Mine are almost like small trees they are so old lol. jane
