Posted by Sherrill on Sunday, December 21, 2008 5:01 PM ASTI would like to know what types of tomatoes grow best in your tomato planter. Can I grow indeterminate tomatoes in it as well as determiniate, or only container tomatoes?

So comming summer I have to hang them higher. And we are going to try regular tomatoes. And more bags. It is required you water every second day. It is real fun.

It could be that you would receive a longer harvest season with an indeterminate type though. Our favourite varieties for the upside down planter are: Duchess, Veseys Mosaic Mix and Window Box Roma.
