Gardeners’ Forum: “starting plants indoor/mold?”
Back to Gardeners’ Forumstarting plants indoor/mold?
Posted by Carol on Monday, March 23, 2009 8:36 AM ADTI have recently started some Onions and Peppers indoors. I started them in Peat Pots, which are set in a domed greenhouse kit. They are under proper lighting for growing plants, but a few seem to be starting to mold (grow grey fuzz) on the top of the soil. What can I do to stop this from happening and can I save the seeds that have the mold in the pots?

Let them completely dry out almost to the point of wilting and see if that helps and then try to only water them from the bottom if possible.
