    I Thought I had Daylily Rust!!!! ,but now I really hope that it is Daylily Spring Wilt,maybe because of our very late frosts and wet Spring I am in the Parry Sound area,where we have still been down to 3c at night,any one have any suggestions to help my plants Many Thanks M

      Hi, M. Daylily rust does not survive our winters[the disease came from Tissue cultered plants imported into the US from the Carribean, I believe ,and is a major problem in the deep south. We get something called leaf steak[looks like rust but doesn't produce the rust spores that you can scrape off the leaf]. Leaf steak and spring sickness is just something we have to bear until warmer drier temps hit. They do not kill the plant. Enjoy those daylies...cheers, lloyd
