Posted by Mandy on Monday, September 7, 2009 8:54 pm ADTZone 6 in Pennsylvania. One of my 2 zucchini plants produced squash that were very dark green and shaped like a ball with a long nose. Another plot in the community garden had the same phenomenon. That plant eventually produced regularly shaped zucchini, but mine stopped producing after about 6 squashes. Any ideas what would cause this misshape? Thanks.
