Posted by cathy on Monday, March 8, 2010 1:46 PM ASTI have a planter attached to the west side of my house.Gets afternnon shade. Want an idea what to plant in it this year. Have planted something diff. for 13yrs. Not happy yet. It faces the road, want everybody to notice it. HELP

Posted by Heather Reynolds on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 1:03 PM ADTHi Cathy I would try a combination of the newer forms of coleus, Sweet Potato vine, New Gunea impatiens or begonias and maybe a shade tolerant grass like a sedge. Not sure what your color scheme is but, you could certainly come up with something interesting with these plants. Cheers Heather
