Can you take cuttings from rosemary and dip them in rooting medium and plant them in a planting mix, and have them grow?

yes i have taken cuttings from rosemary before and they did well, keeping in mind that the cutting are taken from tender new growth dipped in rooting hormone planted into rooting medium. keep cuttings misted and under a plastic dome or mini greenhouse. you can also use empty two liters pop bottle cut off bottom and place over pant. keep in warm area till roots (75 F ) takes approx. 10 days to 2 weeks to root .should use no damp to control dammping off. good luck
