Known as Coneflowers, Echinaceae grow well in full sun to light shade in any well-drained soil and are quite drought tolerant once established. Deadhead the flowers to encourage continued bloom. Plant with crowns just under soil surface. Space plants 18"-24" apart. Dig and divide in spring or fall if they start to die out in the center or outgrow the space.
