Lilium candium

Blooms in early to midsummer. Should be planted much more shallow than other lilies; only 1" of soil over the top of the bulbs. When planted in fall, this lily will produce a low clump of evergreen leaves before winter. They may overwinter in Zones 4 & 5 if given a heavy winter mulch. Otherwise grow as you would lilies.
