Plant in rich, evenly moist soil in part to full shade. It is intolerant of hot, dry summers. Space 12" apart. Mulch in summer to keep soil cool and conserve moisture. Leaves may yellow mid summer. Blooms spring to early summer. Grows 6-10" tall.
