Salvia nemorosa 'Plumosa' (S)
Hardy in Zones 4-7.
Plant crowns 1" below soil surface, 12-18" apart. Prefers full sun and moist, sandy soils. Tolerates drought, but will bloom longer if adequately watered. Remove spent flower stalks to encourage bloom throughout the summer. Cut back plants at the end of the season or if plants become floppy and unsightly after blooming.
