Lycoris radiata

Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, sheltered spot 5-8" apart and 3-4" deep. Grown in a container Lycoris are best planted with the neck of the bulb at the surface of the soil. Once plant growth starts water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly until leaves die down. Mulch well for winter protection.
