Start inside 8-10 weeks before planting out. Do not cover seed. Provide light and keep cool (10-15°C). Transplant outdoors after last frost. May also be direct seeded when soil is still cool and a frost is possible. Space 6-8" apart in full sun to light shade. Water and feed regularly for tall spikes. The more you cut them, the more stems are produced.
