Start 6-8 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover seed and keep warm 24°C (75°F). Can be prone to damping off, keep soil on the dry side and water from below. Has poor frost tolerance so transplant outside about 2 weeks after last frost. Enjoys full sun and tolerates hot, dry areas in the garden.
