Compact, bushy, deciduous shrub with slender, arching shoots. Bowl-shaped white flowers are borne in dense clusters, up to 5 cm (2 inches) across, in early summer. Prune immediately after blooming is finished by selectively removing old wood right to the ground. Easy to grow in average, well-drained soil and flourishes in full sun or partial shade. This shrub grows rapidly and makes an excellent hedge or screen. Grows to 1.8 meters (6 feet) high, 1.5 meters (5 feet) wide.
