Merlin Beet
One of the sweetest and darkest red beets we have found in our trials. Along with its very good flavour, Merlin has disease resistant tops that continue to look good through the summer. When other beet varieties are discoloured and spotted, Merlin's leaves are still glossy and green. This hybrid has good stress resistance and very little zoning. Keeps its shape better than other varieties in high density plantings. Matures in 55 days. Sized seed.

- Soil temperature should be 18-24ºC for optimal germination. Thin seedlings 1 inch apart for greens and 3 inches apart for summer use of roots.
