Rodina Beet
Rodina features an intense dark red colour and is free of interior zoning, a must for pickling and freezing. Early establishment and vigour of seedlings is excellent; this translates into a uniform high yielding harvest. Roots are smooth, tubular and blunt, measuring 6-8 inches in length and 2-2½ inches in diameter. Tops have tolerance to many common diseases. Ideal for fresh market bunching too! Maturity 50-55 days. Sized seed.

- Soil temperature should be 18-24ºC for optimal germination. Thin seedlings 1 inch apart for greens and 3 inches apart for summer use of roots. Packages contain 200-700 seeds and will sow a 25-30 foot row. Approximately 2000 seeds per 25g should sow 100 feet of row.
