Santee Sprouting Broccoli
Tons of mini broccoli shoots over a long harvest window. Sprouting broccoli varieties of the past had to overwinter, but this hybrid will produce the first season. Santee does not produce one large head, but rather many branches of small purple tinged heads. The stems are much more tender than standard broccoli, and are as much a treat as the heads themselves. This variety produces shoots over a much longer period of time than regular broccoli, so gardeners can enjoy their harvest over a period of several weeks. Perfect steamed or added to stir-fries. Matures in 90 days. Approximately 25 seeds/pkg.
