Chantenay Red Cored Carrot
Best for shallow soils. A premium all-purpose carrot with good interior colour. Grows well in heavy, shallow soil. Roots are 5-6” long and 21⁄4 “thick at the shoulder. Flavourful and excellent for dicing. Maturity of 65-70 days. Approx. 1250 seeds/pkg.

- Planting a few radish seeds helps to loosen the soil and mark the rows for these slow emerging seeds. Carrot Rust Flies: One great idea for preventing rust fly damage is to apply row covers after planting. 5-10g (1000-2000 seeds) will sow a 50 foot row.
