Cucumber
Tips: Cucumbers do best in very fertile, mellow soil with a pH level of 6.0-6.8. Direct seed ½-1 inch deep. Allow 6 inches between plants in rows 4-6 feet apart. Plants are tender, so soil should be warm for germination to begin. Do not plant seeds or set out plants until all danger of frost is past. If starting seeds indoors, plant them about 3 weeks before expected time of transplanting. It is best to use Jiffy pots in order to reduce planting shock. Approximately 1,000-1,300 seeds per 25g.

These slender fruit require no peeling as the skin is soft and tender. For maximum yield of straight, clean fruit, Burpless cucumbers should be grown on stakes.
