Crinkled Fantasy Daylily
Spring Planting: this product will be shipped late April through May according to your hardiness zone.
Hemerocallis. When its hard to tell its a Daylily, you know its a special one! Fully double flowers offer layers and layers of creamy-ivory petals with a grape-purple eye and matching crinkled edges. Daylilies are phenomenal, easy grow perennial. They are very hardy, forming beautiful clumps of strappy green leaves. The flowers of most cultivars last for only one day, giving the plant its informal name. Don't worry though, there will be a brand new flower on each flower stalk the following morning! Plant along foundations or walkways, in mixed perennial borders and beds, or even well drained containers. Height 24-36". No 1 root.

Planting Perennial Roots:
Soak bare-root perennials in water for a few hours before planting. Add organic matter to the area and provide good drainage unless the plant variety enjoys wet roots. Unless otherwise specified, bare-root perennials are usually planted with the crown (where the shoots meet the roots) an inch below the soil surface. Firm soil gently to eliminate air pockets and water in well. Mark the area clearly since it may be awhile before the plant shows itself.
Plant daylilies 18"-24" apart in any good garden soil with the crowns about 2" below the soil surface.
They thrive in full sun or part shade. Most hybrids bloom best with 6-8 hours of sun each day. Daylilies tolerate poor soil and drought but bloom best if soil is kept moist. Deadhead regularly. Divide plants in fall or spring.
