Ultimate Cold Frame

Veseys Home » Store » Tools & Supplies » Greenhouses & Accessories » Ultimate Cold Frame

Our Ultimate Cold Frame is taller, with a roof design that gives plants more headroom, so it's better for protecting fullgrown plants right through the fall. It is much wider than the standard 3' x 6' model, with zippered openings on both sides to make easy access. Very sturdy, made with powder coated steel for years of outside use. The fitted covers are reinforced polyethylene that hold up to wind and weather and diffuse sunlight for nice, even light coverage. Features zippered closures and roll up vents for warm days. Unit measures 71" L x 57" W x 36" H.

Ultimate Cold Frame

these ultimate cold frames are the cat's meow, but one thing. The frame outlasts the cover and I can't seem to find a replacement cover so that makes it not very efficient or practical. That's a shame

Ultimate Cold Frame

I bought one this year and there are already holes in the top corners of the plastic due to sun damage, also the netting is ripped on one side. The size is great to hold a lots of large pots, but the cover needs replacing after one summer.

Ultimate Cold Frame

I don't have the Vesey cold frame but I have build my own. I had the same problem, with holes in the plastic and after keeping a watchful eye out discovered that large birds landing on the cold frame was the problem. A few aluminium plates flopping in the wind cured the problem.
