Sky & Ice Osteospermum
Osteospermum ecklonis. Glistening pure-white daisies with deep purple and blue eyes. These flowers almost glow in the dark! Bushy plants have glossy green foliage and will bloom their hearts out from July to October, especially where summers are cool. Grows 24 inches high and almost as wide. Enjoys full sun and grows well in pots. A drought tolerant and pest free plant best suited to a full sun location. Also known as blue-eyed daisy. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks prior to final frost. Approximately 35 seeds/Pkg; 70 seeds/gram.
Also known as African daisy. Should be started inside 6-8 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover seeds, provide light and germinate at 65-70°. Seed should sprout within 10-15 days Transplant outside after last frost date, although Osteospermum is somewhat cold tolerant. Plant 10 inches apart in a full sun location
Well-drained soil is required. If you have heavy clay soil, plants will perform well in pots of soilless mix. Generally pest free and drought tolerant. Grows 12-18 inches high.
