Matthiola incana. An heirloom bedding plant with lovely, scented flowers, about half will be fully double blooms. This garden classic is a mix of early, bright, fragrant blooms on sturdy stems ideal for cut flower production. This well branched dwarf series prefers cool growing conditions, grows to 15-20” and is an excellent garden performer. Approx. 50 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting. Do not cover seed, provide light and keep cool at 13-18°C (55-65°F). Be mindful of damping off. May also be direct seeded after last frost.
Growing:
Transplant after last frost into a full sun location, 10-12 inches apart. If your summers are very hot provide midday shade. Prefers a moist and fertile soil. Water and fertilize regularly. Provide good air circulation.
