Shipping Rates & Taxes
Most orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel Post (unless otherwise stated on the product page). In certain cases, for orders weighing under 500 grams we may choose to send your order by lettermail (formerly known as first class mail). This would in fact be a faster delivery method.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday (we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday). Please allow a reasonable time for orders to reach you. If you feel your order has been unduly delayed, please check with your local post office before contacting Veseys.
Shipping Times of Perishable Products:
We do our best to ensure that you receive your product at the proper time for planting.
Spring Bulbs and Perennials, Potatoes, Onions Sets, Garlic Sets and Fruits & Berries will be shipped at the appropriate time for planting in your area. We begin shipping in late April/early May, commencing with customers located in the higher hardiness zones.
Fall Bulbs and Perennials and Fall Garlic will be shipped at the appropriate time for planting in your area. We begin shipping in mid-late September commencing with customers located in the lower hardiness zones.
For those ordering after these shipping dates, you can expect delivery approximately two to three weeks after you have placed your order (most locations), unless we consider it still too early for your region.
*Order delays may occur when inclement weather is impacting our warehouse location, our shipping carriers, or our production vendors. These delays help us protect your plant order to ensure its received at its highest quality.
