Datura

Datura, commonly referred to as Angel’s Trumpet may not be a flower that you have grown before but once you do, you will no doubt continue to plant it in your garden, year after year. Large, but elegant trumpet-shaped blossoms in soft shades of yellow, purple and white, form intricate petals.  Each combination sets a pleasing and fragrant effect whether growing in a garden or container. The flowers are adorned by highly ornamental, prickly fruits and remain decorative for long periods. Take care when growing as ingestion of any part of the plant can be toxic or poisonous.
