Annual. Start Inside 8-10 weeks before last spring frost. Soak seed for 12 hours in warm water before planting. Sow ½” deep. Should germinate in 2-3 weeks Keep warm and moist. Before seedlings become crowded transplant individually into 4” pots. Plant into the garden after last frost, spacing at least 12” apart, and provide a fence or trellis for it to climb. Does well in hanging baskets, window boxes and spilling over rock walls. Hummingbirds love the flowers. Prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil and full sun. About 120 days from seed to bloom. Grows 6-10’ tall.
