Lavatera arborea 'variegata'
Annual/Tropical Perennial. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Cover lightly with soil. Keep warm and moist. Plant into the garden in a sunny location, spacing at least 3’ apart. Usually does not flower the first year, but is usually grown as a beautiful foliage plant. If desired, the plants can be dug up, placed in pots and overwintered in a cool but frost-free location for the winter. Cut the top back to 12” and replant in the spring. Grows 4-10 feet high.
