Warm season, clump forming grass. Produces weeping pinkish-white flowers, 12-16 inches above the foliage in early autumn. Turns bright yellow in the fall and has maroon seed heads. Grows 3 feet tall and 30 inches wide. Prefers moist, semi-fertile soil and full sun.
