Patron Broccoli
An improved hybrid CMS version of Patriot. Patron produces tight 5-6" domed heads with small beads, ensuring tip quality after harvest and handling. Sturdy plants yield heads with slender stalks which require minimal trimming and provide ease of harvest. Mid season maturity. Suitable for fresh market, bunching and crown cut. Tolerance to Downey Mildew. Maturity 58-60 days from transplanting.

- Harvest when the buds of the head are firm and tight, cutting 5 to 10 inches down on the stalk. This will promote the growth of side shoots which will provide an abundance of smaller heads over a long period.
