Celeriac is grown the same as celery, but the root is used instead of the stalks. Brilliant forms uniform 3-5 inch roots with very little fibers. Stores well and easy to grow. Days to maturity 110. - Celeriac requires a long growing season (120 days) and can take two to three weeks to germinate. Soaking the seeds overnight can help hasten the germination. Transplant seedlings in rich soil. When the plants are 3 to 4 inches tall, mulch with straw to keep soil moist.
