Unbelievable yield and performance. Dark green heads measure 12 inches tall. Partially savoyed leaves are tender and mild with a crisp and juicy mid rib. Green Forest is suited to many growing conditions and has a strong tolerance against tipburn and bolting. Maturity 70 days. Approximately 300 seeds/Pkg. Pelleted seed only. - Make succesion plantings every 1-2 weeks to ensure a constant harvest. Always harvest lettuce very early in the morning. Gardeners are often frustrated with slugs eating their lettuce. One natural solution is to sprinkle diatomaceous earth along the soil next to your lettuce rows.
