Atlantic Giant Pumpkin
The "King of all Giant Pumpkins" is recording stupendous weights across the U.S. and Canada in Pumpkin Weigh-Offs. The new world record is a 1502 lb pumpkin grown by Ron Wallace, of Rhode Island. Wow! Eddie Shaw of PEI placed first in the 2006 Winsdor Pumpking Festival in Nova Scotia with his 1181 lb pumpkin. William Van Schuppen of PEI won this year's PEI weigh-off with his 1095.5 lb giant which set a new Island record. The sport of pumpkin growing can be enjoyed by gardeners of all ages. Plant Atlantic Giant and perhaps you could be the next "King of the Pumpkin Patch".
