Burgess Buttercup Squash
Our most popular vine-type Winter Squash. Dark green fruit weigh about 3 lbs each and have a distinct "cup" on the blossom end. Dry, sweet, rich flavoured, golden flesh make this Squash a favourite. - Harvest summer squash when they are 4-8 inches long and when their skin is still shiny. Winter squash can be cut later in the summer or early fall before frost. The skin should should be hard enough so that you can't cut it with your fingernail.
