Hello, I am thinking of ordering potentilla roots for spring delivery. If I plant them this spring will they flower this summer or will it be next summer?

In most cases there will be little if any flowering in the first year or even sometimes the second year. However is you have a perfect spring (you know the type we think we remember from when we were children) you could get some this year.
