Red Cabbage

This Red Cabbage Microgreen has dark red, crisp leaves. Just like growing sprouts, growing Microgreens is an incredibly easy and economical way to grow your very own vitamin packed fresh food all year round. Growing Microgreens, unlike growing sprouts in water, requires a small amount of soil so the tiny roots can take hold and the plants allowed to grow upright. Typically, Microgreens are grown in a shallow soil-filled tray and placed in as much light as possible. The seedlings are then allowed to grow until they have between one and two true sets of leaves. Harvest is quick and easy by simply snipping off the seedlings with scissors just above the soil surface.
