Growing Information
Planting:
Start indoors 9-11 weeks before your last frost. Cover seed slightly with a sprinkle of soil or vermiculite. Use of a heat mat and dome are strongly recommended until germination occurs. If germinating in a drafty area, continue use of a dome until up potting. Up-potting will be required once roots grow through bottom of pot/tray. Keep soil moist until germination. After germination, let soil dry slightly between waters, do not let soil dry out hard at any point.
Growing:
Harden off plants once all chance of frost has passed over 3-5 days, in the shade if sunny. Do not let plants dry out hard if in pots or containers. Vinca planted in the garden only needs water during establishment. Vinca likes soil slightly on the dry side. Feed with a water-soluble annual flower fertilizer once every two weeks.
