Maverick Orange Geranium
Pelargonium hortorum. Delicate orange blossoms rest on top of beautiful dark green zoned foliage that has multiple stems reaching up to 18 inches tall. This hybrid would look amazing with its bright and vibrant colour next to any other plant in your flower beds or containers. Start indoors at least 12 weeks before last spring frost in your area. Growing Information
Planting:
Start inside at least 12 weeks before last spring frost. Cover seed lightly and then provide constant warmth (70-75 degrees F) and moisture. Bottom heat is essential. (Except for inchesBlack Velvet Rose inches, which should be germinated cool, without bottom heat, at 60 F.) Cover to provide total darkness until germination occurs, in 5-15 days. Thereafter provide lots of light. Plant outside after last frost, 8-12 inches apart.
Growing:
Prefers full sun, but will tolerate light shade. Deadhead and remove yellowed leaves. Do not overfertilize.
